A Place at the Table | a documentary film

Date

Jan 25 - 27

Time

5:30 pm

In Place at the Table, documentarians follow three Americans struggling with hunger: Barbie, a Philadelphia single mother; Rosie, a Colorado 5th grader; and Tremonica, a Mississippi 2nd grader. This documentary investigates incidents of hunger experienced by millions of Americans and proposes solutions to the problem, and features hunger and nutrition experts and advocates including Ken Cook, Tom Colicchio,  and Jeff Bridges.

Here at Second Harvest we believe that an important part of feeding hungry people and working to solve hunger issues in our community is learning more about them. Join us online for this educational and uplifting film screening and  post-screening discussion.
