Subway World Sandwich Day

Be a ‘hero’ on World Sandwich Day! Subway is celebrating by helping feed people experiencing hunger. All you have to do to do good is order a sandwich online.

For every purchase made on and the Subway App, Subway will donate 10 cents to Feeding America, our national umbrella organization. 90% of those donations will come back to your local food bank (that’s us).

BMW's Drive to End Hunger Test Drive Event

Nov. 12-16
Think Santa should bring you a hot new ride this Christmas? For every car you test drive at the dealership, BMW of Nashville will donate 180 meals to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

Acme's Catfish for a Cause

Nov. 25
As a nod to Predators fans, on Nov. 25 Acme Feed and Seed is donating 15% of catfish specials and local draft beer sales to Second Harvest. The Nashville restaurant’s delish Farmer’s Fresh Catfish is served with hush puppies, hand-cut fries, and slaw for just $12.

This event ties in to the Predators’ Food Drive for Second Harvest, which is happening the same day. On Mondays, Acme is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., so there’s plenty of time to pre-game.

Second Harvest NASH ball cap

Limited supply! Take action against hunger by purchasing this new Second Harvest ball cap. This custom hat features orange, which is the national color for hunger awareness. With the purchase of each cap, The Nash Collection will donate 16 meals to Second Harvest. Make this a holiday someone else will never forget.

Take a Slice Out of Hunger

Through Nov. 30
The Fresh Market is donating $1 from every cream pie sold between now and Nov. 30 to fight hunger. 10% goes to our national umbrella organization, Feeding America, and 90% goes to your local food bank (that’s us). Cream pie flavors include French chocolate silk and pumpkin praline.

Fresh Market focuses on the value of supporting local growers and charities, while offering the freshest and most delicious foods possible. They have more than 160 locations nationwide, including a store in Brentwood.

Crate & Barrel Gifts that Give Back

Nov. 1-Dec. 31 
It’s time to get ready for holiday entertaining, and the new Crate & Barrel in Nashville is the perfect place to start. Crate & Barrel is donating $5 from every purchase of these five elegant pieces of serveware: Marin Small White Serving Bowl, Marin Small White Oval Platter, Peak Pitcher, Salad Server Set, and Burke Salad Server Set.

Every Tuesday, Hello Beautiful donates 10 percent of sales to Second Harvest. The women’s boutique in Murfreesboro specializes in extended sizes and features a glam bar.

Cheesecake Factory

Through Feb. 29
For each slice of Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake purchased, the Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America, which is Second Harvest’s umbrella organization.

There are more than 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants around the world. Nashville’s Cheesecake Factory is located on the north side of The Mall at Green Hills.

Pampered Chef Round Up from the Heart

Kitchen tool company Pampered Chef offers three ways to help.

  1. Round up your order. When you do, 100% of your contributions benefit your local Feeding America member food bank (that’s us).
  2. Buy Round Up from the Heart designated products including the mini loaf pan, donut pan, and gingerbread house mold. Each purchase contributes 3 meals.
  3. Host a fundraiser party. When you have a Feeding America fundraiser, Pampered Chef contributes a portion of the total sales to the cause.
