What’s New
The Nacarato Distribution Center in Smyrna opened in fall 2018, but there’s still work to be done before it reaches its full potential. Currently the 36,000-square-foot facility includes safe food storage for frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable food.
When it’s running at capacity, this new location will distribute more than 8.4 million meals in our 15 Southern counties annually.
Your Gifts at Work
When we met Shae, she was using one of the outreach center’s computers to look for affordable housing. Right now she’s doing inspecting work and Joshua works in a warehouse. Their car is on its last legs, so that’s an additional expense they are struggling with. But they remain optimistic.

You can drop off non-perishable food in the Second Harvest donation barrels at your local Kroger store, or call (615) 984-0555 to make an appointment to bring them to the Smyrna distribution center at 1958 Almaville Road.
