As Warehouse Manager of Second Harvest’s the Ray Smith Family Distribution Center in Camden, Lee Brooks plays a major role in the food bank’s hunger relief efforts for our western service area.

I began working at Second Harvest in August 2018 – three years. I’m the Warehouse Manager of Operations for our Western Branch – the Ray Smith Family Distribution Center in Camden. A typical day for me starts with reviewing our Partner Agencies orders and incoming food donations, debriefing our warehouse staff and assigning tasks. I then move on to any paperwork that needs to be sent to invoicing, assisting with daily production if there is an overload, and ensuring all food safety best practices are being followed. The day ends with a follow up with my crew and then we do it all again the next day.
