Have fun and change lives in your community

Second Harvest hosts several signature events throughout the year that offer opportunities for you to join us in fighting hunger in Middle and West Tennessee together with your community.

We also invite you to host your own benefit event! Whether you’re planning a barbecue, a 5k, or an anniversary celebration, any event you host can nourish your neighbors by raising money for Second Harvest.

Tenx9

Tenx9 ("ten by nine”) Nashville is a monthly community storytelling night in Nashville, Tennessee where 9 people have up to ten minutes each to tell a real story from their lives. Ten-minute stories by nine people—thus the name.

Every month has a theme, and every event is free.

Annual Signature Events

Our signature events bring together our community to celebrate the work that has already been done to fight hunger in Middle and West Tennessee and raise funding for the work still to be done.

Join us at the historic Ryman Auditorium for an incredible acoustic lineup from country music legends supporting Second Harvest.

Honoring the legacy of blues musician Otha Turner, this lively street party hosted by Bill Ramsey features live music from local artists, with proceeds benefiting Second Harvest.

A one-of-a-kind experience brings together Nashville’s favorite restaurants for a tasting showcase of some of the city’s best food, benefiting our grocery rescue program.

This exclusive kickoff event for Generous Helpings is an elegant, chef-curated, multi-course meal with fine wines and signature cocktails, which also benefits our Food Rescue program.
