Ole South Puts Hope Back on the Table

Ole South Feeding Hope 2017

It started with a volunteer shift.

Several years ago, Ole South employees joined us in the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee warehouse for a volunteer shift of sorting and boxing pallets of donated food to be sent to our 450+ Partner Agencies. Inspired by our mission of feeding hungry people and working to solve hunger issues in our community, they wanted to do more.

Ole South, Tennessee’s number one home builder, went on to donate $100 from every home sale in December 2015 and January 2016 to Second Harvest. Later that year, they hosted a food drive and supported our end-of-year Feeding Hope campaign.

We’re excited to have Ole South back as a Feeding Hope sponsor for the second year in a row. Their support puts hope back on the table for the one in seven Tennesseans struggling with hunger this holiday season.

A few weeks ago, Ole South employees joined us once again for a volunteer shift of sorting and packing food. Their donation of time, food, and monetary resources allow us to make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors in need.

Do you want to fight hunger?

Consider making a contribution to Second Harvest this holiday season. Just one dollar can provide four meals to hungry families, children, and seniors in Middle Tennessee.
