Looking for after-school meals for kids in Nashville? Second Harvest’s Kids Cafes are here to help.

School is almost back in session. For working parents, the day doesn’t end when the final bell rings.

When school lets out at 3 PM and work ends after 5 PM, parents are often left looking for after-school meals for their kids in Nashville. After-school care can be expensive and hard to find.

Families can struggle to keep their children safe, supervised, and fed after school.

That’s where Kids Cafe comes in.

Hosted at trusted community spaces like Easley Community Center, Dream Streets, the Martha O’Bryan Center, and the Carroll County Library, our Kids Cafes provide more than just a snack. They offer stability.

Easley serves between 60 and 100 children each week with healthy food, enriching activities, and a space where they can simply be kids.

Snacks range from nutritious fruits to kid-friendly favorites like cheese crackers. Food is just the start. Kids can get help with homework, play sports, explore a computer lab, and unwind in a fun arcade space.

After-school programs like Kids Cafe are essential. They fill the gap for families who can’t afford private care, and they ensure children are safe, supported, and nourished during critical after-school hours.

Second Harvest’s Kids Cafes help children thrive, not just during after-school hours.
