As longtime supporters of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, they’ve given faithfully for years. But, this past year, they showed us the power one couple can have.
Scott wanted his team at work to give back in a meaningful way. So, he set a powerful example of leadership: since January, every philanthropic gift his staff makes is matched by the company!
Scott didn’t stop there.
He asked them to vote on which nonprofit they’d like to give extra support to. His employees chose Second Harvest. Now, when employees choose to give to Second Harvest, that gift is matched again!
Kim had a similar vision. Each February, she gathers her friends and coworkers for our Galentine’s volunteer event. Together, they pack food and spread joy.
The results speak for themselves. This summer, Second Harvest picked up a check for $25,000 thanks to Scott’s initiative and his team’s generosity.
