Food Distribution Partnership

Partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Second Harvest partners with nonprofit and faith-based organizations that regularly provide food to their communities across our 46-county service area. Through partnership, agencies can access dry goods, fresh produce, and refrigerated and frozen products to serve neighbors through food pantries, meal programs, and community distributions. We currently collaborate with more than 400 Partner Agencies and have very limited openings for new partners. At this time, we are primarily seeking organizations located in underserved rural communities that have limited access to food resources.

Who can become a Partner Agency?

Eligible programs include food pantries, emergency shelters, congregate meal programs and soup kitchens in rural or underserved areas. Programs that are not eligible include residential group homes, rooming houses, and any programs operating out of single-family residential housing. If your organization doesn’t currently meet these criteria or isn’t located in an underserved area, there are still many ways to make a difference—by volunteering, hosting a food drive, or collaborating with an existing Partner Agency in your community. You can also use our Find Food tool to refer people you work with to find food assistance nearby.
