Help us distribute fresh food to our hungry neighbors! At mobile pantries, Second Harvest delivers a truckload of produce and shelf-stable food to a parking lot or a Partner Agency. That food is arranged into an open-air market and distributed immediately to about 250 households.

Volunteers are needed to help set up the market, bag food, help clients through the line and to their vehicles, and for break down/cleanup.

Attire

This food distribution takes place in an outdoor environment. Please dress appropriately for the weather forecast.
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers’ safety. No exceptions.
• Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. You’ll be standing/walking much of the shift.
• Wear layers, so you’ll be prepared if the weather changes.

Special Instructions

Please review our Volunteer Policies and Procedures.

This project is not eligible for Court Appointed or Tennessee Promise community service hours.
