Help us stock food for our neighbors in need! Second Harvest’s Emergency Food Box sites provide clients with two to three days of staple food items based on the number of members in each household.
Volunteers are needed to assist with unloading food deliveries and stocking shelves. Expect to lift a minimum of 20 pounds repeatedly as needed throughout the volunteer shift.
Attire
Unloading the truck takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather forecast.
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers’ safety. No exceptions.
- Masks are welcome, but not required.
- Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. You’ll be standing/walking much of the shift.
- Wear layers, so you’ll be prepared if the weather changes.
Special Instructions
