Emergency Food Boxes – East Nashville
LocationEast Nashville Cooperative Ministry
Monday and Wednesday, 10 am – 3 pm (Volunteers must stay at least one hour, but are welcome to stay longer)
Help us prepare food boxes for our neighbors in need! Second Harvest’s Emergency Food Box sites provide clients with two to three days of staple food items based on the number of members in each household.
Expect to lift a minimum of 20 pounds repeatedly as needed throughout the volunteer shift.
Please dress appropriately:
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers’ safety. No exceptions.
• Masks are welcome, but not required.
• Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. You’ll be standing/walking much of the shift.
Please review our Volunteer Policies and Procedures.
This project is not eligible for Court Appointed or Tennessee Promise community service hours.
If you have any questions, please contact East Nashville Cooperative Ministry at (615) 540-0122.
