Thank you for celebrating the holiday season with us! Our 13th annual Winter Party, hosted by Brian and Haden Cook and our Friends of the Food Bank, was a fun-filled evening of food and dancing, working towards our mission. Together, event attendees and Second Harvest donors raised more than $15,900, providing more than 63,500 meals to children, families and seniors this past holiday season.
“It’s a gift to have people that actually care, people who are thinking of others’ situations,” says LaToya, a single, working mother. “If we didn’t have [Second Harvest’s] resources, I don’t know what we would do.”
With more than 400,000 individuals in Middle Tennessee not knowing where their next meal will come from, including 1 in 4 children, donations are imperative to help fulfill our mission to feed hungry people. Your generosity not only helps families like LaToya’s receive food assistance but also helps families get back on their feet.

The Friends of the Food Bank community consists of tomorrow’s leaders feeding hope to today’s hungry by supporting Second Harvest and fighting hunger through friends, funds and food.
