Ole South Takes On Hunger

Ole South is challenging everyone to join them in the fight against hunger.

This holiday season, Second Harvest Food Bank is once again partnering with Ole South to provide food to children, families, and seniors in need.

Ole South recognizes that the need is great in our community with 1 in 8 individuals currently facing hunger in Middle and West Tennessee. In addition to their financial contributions, Ole South employees donate their time and energy volunteering at our distribution centers.

Whether it’s sorting dry food from our grocery rescue program or packing disaster relief boxes for hurricane victims, Ole South is committed to fighting hunger in our community and beyond.

Get Involved

“It’s a humbling experience,” Trey said. “I would challenge anyone whether it’s a group of two or a group of 200 to pick up the phone, call Second Harvest, and get involved.”

Take Trey’s challenge and sign up for a volunteer shift, host a food drive, or make a gift. When $1 = 8 meals, even small contributions can have a big impact in the fight against hunger!

Join Ole South, and give back to those facing hunger this holiday season. Now through December 31, 2019, donations are being matched – every $1 donated will now equal 8 meals for those struggling with food insecurity in Middle and West Tennessee.
