Very few food banks are fortunate enough to have a dietitian on staff. Second Harvest is one of them – with not one but two nutrition experts ensuring we are providing a healthy mix of food to meet the nutritional needs of our clients. From developing recipes to providing in-person nutrition instruction, Amy Qazi, RD, LDN and Lexie Trice play a vital role in helping Second Harvest clients live healthy lives.
