Are you looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities in Middle Tennessee this April? Volunteer Appreciation Month is the perfect time to fight hunger at home.

Volunteers have a profound impact on the fight against hunger. Last year, volunteers gave over 62,000 hours to Second Harvest.

Whether it is at a Mobile Market or packing BackPacks, we need that time to get nutritious food to our neighbors.

Volunteer shifts are a great team-building exercise and a fun way to give back. Organizations use our volunteer opportunities to build stronger teams. At the same time, they get to make a lasting impact in the community.

There are numerous ways to get involved with Second Harvest:

  • Family Night: Engage in a volunteer shift with the whole family. Tasks are suitable for children aged six and above.

Visit our volunteer portal to find meaningful volunteer opportunities. Sign up to get email updates.

Whether you’re a corporate team, school group, or community organization, we can’t wait to see you at a shift.

Join us this Volunteer Appreciation Month. Together, we can create a hunger-free community.
