Keora and Jaquez were thrilled to welcome their 2-month-old son, Jaquez, Jr., into the world. They’re doting parents and clearly love their little boy dearly. But between all their family’s expenses, they’ve often faced difficult choices like whether to pay bills or buy food.

They can pick up a bag of healthy, wholesome food at Manna Café’s mobile food distributions and join fellow neighbors for a full meal twice a week. Keora greatly appreciates the food and the fellowship. She says she won’t let her pride get in the way of providing food for her family, and she appreciates being able to get help in an environment where she doesn’t feel judged.

Manna Café’s dedicated staff and volunteers truly care about the well-being of their neighbors. Many donate clothes to make sure people like Keora and Jaquez have warm coats for the frigid temperatures.
