Jackson National Life Insurance Company® (Jackson®) is a long-standing partner in the fight against hunger with Second Harvest. Throughout their partnership with Second Harvest, Jackson has donated funds, volunteered, and even hosted food drives to help our neighbors in need. Their commitment to building a better Middle and West Tennessee is inspirational.

Recently, Jackson raised 2,000 pounds of food through their food drive. That’s enough for almost 1,700 meals! Their support doesn’t stop there, either. Staff fundraising efforts led to a donation of approximately $15,000, which went directly to supplying 60,000 meals in our 46-county service area. All of that in just the month of September!

Jackson also came to Second Harvest to show their support in person, volunteer their time, and pack food boxes to be distributed in the community. During this shift, employees from Jackson packed 126 produce boxes. These boxes included 20 pounds of fresh produce and were sent to our Partner Agencies that afternoon to feed families in need. In total, Jackson employees supplied 2,100 meals that day alone.

Ending hunger in Middle and West Tennessee will take the support of everyone in our community. Jackson National Life Insurance is a beacon of hope for those facing hunger, and an inspiration to those of us at Second Harvest who are looking for partners in this fight.
