How BJ’s Wholesale Club Middle Tennessee Fights Hunger

How BJ’s Wholesale Club Middle Tennessee fights hunger is a story of community partnership.

Since arriving in Middle Tennessee in 2023, BJ’s Wholesale Club has been a vital partner. Their commitment to the community shines through their dedication to nourishing children and families facing food insecurity.

BJ’s Wholesale Club has partnered with Second Harvest to strengthen their efforts. By focusing on our Children’s Feeding Programs, such as BackPacks and the School Pantry, BJ’s ensures that students in Rutherford, Wilson, and Davidson counties have access to the nutritious food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

That’s how BJ’s Wholesale Club Middle Tennessee fights hunger.

Our BackPack Program is designed to provide children at risk of hunger with food to take home over the weekend when school meals are not available. Similarly, the School Pantry Program brings shelves of healthy options directly into schools. This allows families to pick up groceries in a familiar and convenient setting.

These programs play a critical role in reducing child hunger and helping students stay focused in the classroom.

How BJ’s Wholesale Club Middle Tennessee Fights Hunger: stocked school pantry shelves filled with groceries and ready-to-go food bags for local families.

Thanks to BJ’s support, more children across Middle Tennessee can count on these services. BJ’s helps us reach thousands of children who might otherwise go without meals outside of school hours.

BJ’s Wholesale Club’s impact in Middle Tennessee is truly remarkable. They have helped provide more than 871,000 meals to families across our community.

How BJ’s Wholesale Club Middle Tennessee fights hunger goes beyond just financial support. Their team volunteers at Second Harevst.

Whether it’s sponsoring packing BackPacks, hosting food drives, or working at a Mobile Pantry, BJ’s makes it clear that they are committed to ensuring no child in Middle Tennessee faces hunger alone.
