Donate Food

A man with a cart filled with food

Your food donations change lives.

We accept food donations from individuals, grocery stores, farmers, manufacturers, and distributors. By donating food, you provide essential nutrition to people facing hunger while also reducing food waste by diverting surplus items away from landfills. Your generosity makes a meaningful impact towards building a stronger community.

Donation Drop-Off

We accept dry, perishable, frozen, and produce donations at all three of our warehouse locations in Nashville, Smyrna, and Camden from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

You can also drop off non-perishable items in the Second Harvest Food Bank donation barrels in the front of your local Kroger.

Food Industry Donations

We know there are many reasons why items may no longer be sellable, such as surplus production, discontinuation, imperfect or underweight packaging, or approaching expiration dates – even when they are completely safe to eat. Redirect surplus product to people who need it most and keep quality items out of landfills. Contact us to get started!

Local Gardener and Farmer Donations

We’re proud to support local agriculture and provide quality, locally sourced produce to the people we serve. By working with Second Harvest, you are increasing access to nutritious, fresh foods to our neighbors across Middle and West Tennessee. Contact us to get started!
