Generous Helpings Brings Together Local Favorites to Fight Hunger

This year’s Generous Helpings, sponsored by Kroger, brought together 30 local restaurants and raised over $92,000 for Second Harvest’s grocery rescue program, Middle Tennessee’s Table.

There was something for everyone, with sweet and savory dishes (not to mention wine and craft beer) distributed across two floors of Nashville’s downtown City Winery. Attendees were treated to a first taste of soon-to-open restaurants Pancho & Lefty’s Cantina and Von Elrod’s Beer Garden & Sausage House.

For the second year in a row, the People’s Choice Winner was Funk Seoul Brother with their a Honey-Butter Korean Fried Chicken, which you can make at home with the recipe here.
