Nashville Tool Share Program Promotes Community Projects
Nashville’s Community Tool Share is a tool lending program created in partnership with Second Harvest, Tractor Supply, and the Metro Beautification and Environment Commission.
Community groups working on garden or farm projects aimed at producing healthy food to be donated to hungry people or community-driven beautification, improvement and/or maintenance projects can check out tools from the Community Tool Bank. Available tools include rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, post hole diggers, rapid hand tillers, and more.
Renting Is Easy
- Complete and submit the waiver and reservation form.
- Once you receive confirmation, pick-up your tools from the Public Works Warehouse.
- After your project, return the tools to the Public Works Warehouse and complete the Report Form.
Although at this time, rentals are not available for individuals, we’ve recently seen a surge in neighborhood and community projects that we’d like to support and encourage.
