Working with farmers to turn America’s food waste problem into a hunger solution

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is proud to support local agriculture. We’re dedicated to sourcing local produce and increasing access to nutritious food being grown right here in Middle and West Tennessee. The Farm to Families program supplies healthy and nutritious food to communities that need it the most while supporting the work of local farmers and ensuring less food goes to waste.
Our Farm to Families program also works with several partner farms to provide volunteer opportunities. Volunteers help care for and harvest many different crops to be donated to Second Harvest and local Partner Agencies to help feed those in need.
