Hunger 202 in Smyrna

Date

May 24

Time

5:30 pm

Join us for an interactive and educational activity to learn about hunger-related needs in our community. Hunger 202 involves a hunger simulation that demonstrates in a hands-on way how poverty and food deserts impact our community. The evening finishes with a facilitated discussion

This free, educational event is designed with Second Harvest volunteers in mind, but there’s no volunteer component and everyone is welcome. Recommended for ages 12 and older.

This event is in person at the Nacarato Family Distribution Center in Smyrna. To keep participants safe, we’re using our largest conference room space, limiting the number of people and spacing out tables, requiring masks, and adapting activities so participants don’t share materials or move between different stations.
