Hunger 101 in Camden

Date

May 10

Time

4:00 pm

Calling all hunger heroes! Join us for a family-friendly interactive and educational activity to learn about hunger-related needs in our community. Hunger 101 demonstrates in a hands-on way how poverty and hunger can impact children and their families. The evening finishes with a facilitated discussion and snacks.

This free, educational event is designed with Second Harvest volunteers in mind, but there’s no volunteer component and everyone is welcome. Recommended for ages 6 and older.

This event is in person at the Ray Smith Family Distribution Center in Camden. To keep participants safe, we’re using our largest conference room space, limiting the number of people and spacing out tables, requiring masks, and adapting activities so participants don’t share materials or move between different stations.
