Give More Than You Take
Join friends, family, and members of the community as we honor the life and legacy of Drew Alexander during the fourth annual volunteer day at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee’s Martin Distribution Center on October 20, 2025.
A passionate friend of the food bank, Drew passed away at the age of 52 in late December 2021. He lived by his motto “Give more than you take,” and was an active volunteer at Second Harvest, Nashville Rescue Mission, and Room In The Inn.
As a tribute to Drew’s work serving his neighbors in need, we invite friends and family to join a BackPack Assembly volunteer shift during Second Harvest’s Fourth Annual Drew Alexander Volunteer Day, providing nourishment and hope to children facing hunger.
