As part of its commitment to support the communities it serves, we received a $125,000 grant from Tyson Foods that will help us fight hunger across our service area.

Earlier this week, we received a generous $125,000 grant from Tyson Foods to bolster our ability to supply our Partner Agencies with nutritious food for those in need.

This grant will be used for two hunger-fighting projects.

The first will fund twelve monthly مخزن متنقل distributions in Shelbyville, Tennessee, the home of a Tyson Foods plant.

These monthly distributions are expected to deliver a total of 240,000 pounds of produce, dry goods, and canned proteins to families, seniors, and individuals facing hunger.

The second project will allow us to rebuild AgencyLinkTN, our online platform that helps our 490 Partner Agencies easily access food recovered across our service area.

Increasing effectiveness and efficiency of transportation systems, warehouse operations, and food distribution is a top priority of Tyson Foods, and we are fortunate to have their assistance in this effort.

In addition to financial resources, Tyson employees from the Shelbyville plant also donated their time and energy at a recent volunteer shift at our Southern Branch.
