Link2Feed Data Tracking Available

While feeding people in need may seem simple, there’s a lot that goes into it!  Data helps drive decisions that food banks and their Partner Agencies make in order to feed the community more effectively.  In late 2019, Second Harvest Food Bank partnered with Link2Feed to begin using their client tracking software by the same name.  To date, Second Harvest is using Link2Feed with 19 different program sites operating our Emergency Food Box (EFB) program and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) for seniors.  In October 2020, we rolled out Link2Feed to 20 of our rural Partner Agencies.

Link2Feed allows pantries to understand who is using their services and how best to assist them.  It offers easy and intuitive intake, multi-program tracking, provides paperless processes and generates custom reports showing everything from number of food boxes distributed to zip codes served.  It allows an agency to see if a certain part of the county has a higher need or if clients served are predominately seniors and perhaps eligible for additional resources.  Knowing who our Partner Agencies are serving also provides much needed data that funders look for when donating money.

If your agency is interested in learning more about Link2Feed, contact your Agency Relations Manager.  Second Harvest covers the cost of the program and provides training.
