United Way's 2-1-1

2-1-1 is the most comprehensive source of information about local resources and services in the country. Local community specialists are available 24 / 7 and resources are also listed on their website.

Health and Wellness

Tennessee’s managed care Medicaid Program that provides health insurance to over 1.4 million low-income individuals, including children, pregnant women, parents of minor children, and people who are elderly or disabled.

Provides education and resources to help Tennesseans improve quality of life, including nutrition, agriculture, and family programs. Offices are located in every Tennessee county.

NAMI Tennessee is a grassroots, non-profit, self-help organization dedicated to improving quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy.

Centerstone is a nonprofit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatments for people of all ages.

Helps connect older adults and individuals with disabilities to services.

A network of affordable health clinics across Nashville offering a wide range of services.

Older Adult Support

AgeWell supports older adults and caregivers across 13 counties in Middle Tennessee.

FiftyForward operates 7 centers in Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties for active adults age 50 and older.

Family & Children Services

Provides support for individuals and families in crisis.

Supports families to create safe, stable environments for children. Programs are available in all Tennessee counties.

Provides free diapers to families in need.

Legal Assistance

Free legal help for qualifying low-income individuals.

Free legal help for WIC, SNAP, TennCare, Independence, and Child Nutrition Programs

Connects individuals to civil legal help.

Immigrant & Refugee Support

Provides advocacy and resources for immigrant and refugee communities.
