Local Farm for Hunger Relief

It is hard to believe Project Grow, our local farm for hunger relief, has entered its third growing season. Each year, our garden continues to grow in size and impact.

Project Grow is more than just a local farm for hunger relief; it’s a community-centric program with several goals:

  • providing educational opportunities
  • producing high-quality, nutritious food for our neighbors facing hunger.

Project Grow at our Camden site spans 19 acres. It features row crops, seasonal garden plots, an ADA-accessible raised bed, and pollinator zones.

This year, we have already harvested 4,314 pounds from the garden. After harvest, Second Harvest quickly distributes our produce to local Partners.

From there, Partners can either distribute food to families or prepare farm fresh meals for those in need.

We believe in a holistic approach to food security. Project Grow proves that. Our local farm for hunger relief allows us to empower people so they can thrive.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help us as our garden grows. If you are interested in seeing the future of the fight against hunger, register for a volunteer shift below!
